The Aston Martin Vanquish marks its 25th anniversary with a special edition model, the Vanquish 25, to commemorate the occasion. Many car manufacturers have released limited-edition models to celebrate similar anniversaries, such as the Volkswagen Golf GTI Anniversary and the Corvette Silver Anniversary.
The Vanquish has not had a continuous production run, with gaps between 2007 and 2012 and again between 2018 and 2024. However, it made a comeback two years ago, and now Aston Martin is releasing the Vanquish 25, a limited-edition model with unique features.
Vanquish 25 Special Edition
The Vanquish 25 will be available in two body styles: coupe and Volante. Only 50 units will be produced, with 25 of each style. The exterior will feature a new color, Skye Silver, which is a nod to the original model’s Tungsten Silver launch color. Other exterior tweaks include foil detailing on the side sills, a special Q-developed exhaust finisher, and stainless steel strakes on the side vents.
Inside, the Vanquish 25 gains a start/stop button in bright red, laser-etched trim inlays, and new seat perforation patterns. The cabin can be upholstered in Onyx Black, Oxford Tan, or Phantom Grey. A bespoke 25 badge will be featured on the exterior and interior, embossed into the headrests.
Performance and Pricing
The Vanquish 25’s 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine produces 824bhp and 738lb ft of torque, allowing the coupe to reach 62mph in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 214mph. In comparison, the original 2001 model had a 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing 460bhp and 400lb ft, with a 0-60mph time of around 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 190mph.
Aston Martin has not announced the pricing for the Vanquish 25, but it is expected to be higher than the regular model, which starts at around £335,000. The Vanquish 25 will make its public debut at Monterey Car Week next month.
